Comments: The lecture course will be given in German or English, depending on the requirements of the audience.
The course gives a basic introduction to the theory of solid state physics. The first part of the course will provide a description of the various phenomena in solids and some applications. The second part will address more advanced topics like symmetry considerations and many-particle effects.
