My name is Suresh Govindarajan. I work at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras as an Assistant Professor in the Physics Department. I am visiting Professor Werner Nahm and his group at the University of Bonn for a year on a Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship. My research interests include Quantum Gravity, Black Holes, String Theory, CFT and such things. In recent times, I have been studying the geometry underlying certain non-linear algebras called W-algebras. In addition, I have also been working on the M(atrix) Theory.
