Christoph Lüdeling

I am a postdoc at the Physikalisches Institut in the string phenomenology group of Hans-Peter Nilles. In summer 2006 I finished my PhD in the DESY theory group , and from 2006 to 2008 I was a postdoc at the Institut für theoretische Physik in Heidelberg, in the group of Arthur Hebecker. Furthermore, since December 2010 I am the scientific manager of the Bethe Center for Theoretical Physics.

My research interest is physics beyond the standard model, in particular higher dimensional supergravity models and string model building. Recently, I have worked on heterotic orbifold compactifications and on type IIB model building via F-theory.
